Wrapping Up

I really enjoyed the theory course this 5th semester. It was well designed and had interesting content that might not seem that relevant at first sight — for a designer at least. With this I especially mean the personal questions we had to ask ourselves. But knowing who you are means knowing how to position yourself in the world and this again has a lot of impact on one’s design.

I don’t think this course made me a better designer but at least it was helpful to reflect on myself and it was interesting to hear other people’s oppinions.

One thing I thought was sad is that I couldn’t really find time to read the papers for each theory lesson as I think it is too much to read in a week next to other projects we have to do and also we need to have a bit of free time ;-)

But I really appreciated the online-version as it is really comfortable to work from home for theory classes. I liked the breakout sessions.
